I just read Snakes. I was blown away. Great characters, original story. My only problem was, why a novella. I would have loved to see where you would have taken these characters.

It’s great to hear that you enjoyed the story. This is a case of the story being as long as it needed to be. I couldn’t cut anything to make it a short story, and to stretch out the end would have reduced the punch.
This is one of my favorite stories. I enjoyed writing Eddie and Joy and their crystal-clear voices in my head. Wait, did I just say voices in my head?
I could say more but there might be spoilers! 😉
Maybe if there’s enough fan feedback, I’ll write a follow-up.
