Legend of the Ronin #1"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>When I was a kid in elementary, I made my own comics. Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, I drew all kinds of my own stories. I taught myself to draw the human form by studying John Buscema&#8217;s <em>Conan the Barbarian<\/em>, and the elves of Wendy Pini&#8217;s <em>Elfquest<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It only took me a several decades to muster of the belief, then the will, to produce my own comic book, for real. I didn&#8217;t draw it this time, the wonderfully talented Ramon Perez did. And the amazing Brittany Pezzillo handled the colors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But it&#8217;s finally here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/payhip.com\/b\/AX7s\">Legend of the Ronin<\/a><\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/payhip.com\/b\/AX7s\">, Issue #1.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"686\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/travisheermann.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Legend01_Cover-686x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1486\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The cover illustrator is Wayne Tanaka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many thanks goes out to these talented folks who lent their skills to this project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But don&#8217;t just <em>oooh<\/em> and <em>aaaaaahhh.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/payhip.com\/b\/AX7s\">Click the link and download your copy right now.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sometime in the near future, it will also be available on Comixology, but I don&#8217;t have a hard timeline on that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For now, it is only available in digital PDF format.
