I did a book trailer for <em>Heart of the Ronin\u00a0<\/em>once upon a time with my good friend <a href=\"http:\/\/www.neilwitkin.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Neil Witkin<\/a>. It turned out beautifully,\u00a0but this time I wanted to do something different, something unexpected a little askew for\u00a0<em>Rogues of the Black Fury.\u00a0<\/em>A couple of long trains of thought through Albequerque, Arkham Asylum, and Addis Ababa, ending up in Zanzibar by way of Ypsilanti, I arrived at the idea.<\/p>\n<p>After the idea, came the brainstorming, an enormous mind fart of dialogue appeared on the page.<\/p>\n<p>Then came the software. I gotta say, Xtranormal has a bit of a learning curve, particularly if one is not well-versed in film-making or animating, but once I had the basics down, it was easy to create the animated short, and there are lots of fun little tools like gestures and facial expressions one can <del>waste<\/del> spend hours on.<\/p>\n<p>After that came the titles and editing to create the final version, complete with animated titles and dramatic music.<\/p>\n<p>So here it is.
